RosterView — Support

Questions, problems, or anything that looks wrong.

Fastest way to get something fixed. In the app, open Profile & settings → Diagnostic log, screenshot it, and email it over. It shows what the app has stored and whether it reached the server, which usually answers the question in one go.

Getting started

  1. Open Profile & settings and add your name and staff number.
  2. Set My airline's roster page to the web address where you normally read your roster.
  3. Tap Import, choose your airline portal, and sign in there yourself. RosterView never sees your airline password.

No portal? Import → Paste accepts plain lines such as 2026-09-18 NH0886 KUL-HND 14:15 22:15, and Upload file takes an .ics calendar export.

Common questions

My roster is missing after an update

Your roster is stored on the phone and survives updates. If a month looks empty, check the month arrows at the top — you may be looking at a month you haven't imported. Open the Diagnostic log and send it over if it still looks wrong.

The times don't match my roster

Times are shown in each airport's own local time, while most crew portals print everything in one zone. Tap any time to switch the whole app to UTC and back. Block time is calculated from the source times and never changes with the display zone.

A report time is missing

RosterView only ever shows the report time printed on your roster. It does not estimate one, because the roster is updated with actual times after a flight and a guess would disagree with it. If your roster has no report time for a duty, the app shows the departure instead.

My airline isn't supported

Profile & settings → Get my airline working → Send us your roster. Add the web address where you read your roster and a screenshot or PDF of one month, and we build your airline into the app. You'll see how it is going on the same screen. Until then, Import → Paste and .ics files work for every airline.

A duty code shows as "Unclassified"

Open the Codes tab and tell RosterView what it is. It will fix that day and every future one, and the change stays on your phone.

Who can see my roster?

Profile & settings → Who can see my roster. Choose Open and any RosterView pilot can see it. Choose Private and only pilots whose request you have accepted can; everyone else sees that it is private and can ask. The roster pages you import are kept in your account so we can fix import problems; Delete the pages held for me, just above Delete my account, removes them — see the privacy policy.

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen tap Forgot your password? and a six-digit code is emailed to you.

Deleting your account

Profile & settings → Delete my account permanently removes your account, anything you shared and your connections with other pilots. Deleting the app removes everything held on the phone.
